copy-reply

zot extension: /copy puts the model's last reply on the clipboard.

zot ext install https://git.miskam.xyz/mxm/copy-reply

Needs python3 on PATH. No dependencies.

Use

/copy

Displays copied <n> chars via <tool>, or nothing to copy yet when the session has no assistant message.

The reply is read from the newest session transcript in $ZOT_HOME/sessions matching the current working directory, so it works regardless of when the extension was loaded.

Clipboard tools

First match wins: pbcopy, wl-copy (needs WAYLAND_DISPLAY), xclip or xsel (need DISPLAY), clip.exe. Headless sessions report copy failed: no clipboard tool found instead of hanging.

Test

./test.sh

Drives the extension over stdin/stdout with an isolated ZOT_HOME and fake clipboard binaries; asserts the emitted protocol frames.
