zot-extension

Custom zot extensions by mxm.

Index repo. Each extension lives in its own repo and is linked here as a git submodule under extensions/ — zot clones a URL and expects extension.json at the clone root, so every extension needs a standalone repo anyway.

Extensions

Name	Install	Description
mcp-bridge	zot ext install https://git.miskam.xyz/mxm/mcp-bridge	v4.0.0 — connect zot to MCP servers; install, inspect, and uninstall server configurations from zot. Source install needs Go 1.25+ on PATH; prebuilt binaries are available in the release.
copy-reply	zot ext install https://git.miskam.xyz/mxm/copy-reply	v1.0.0 — /copy puts the model's last reply on the clipboard. Needs python3 on PATH.

Use MCP bridge

Inside zot:

/reload-ext
/mcp list
/mcp status grep

If discovery reports a changed tool cache, run /reload-ext once more. Ask zot to use the server's tools; remove its entry with /mcp uninstall grep, then reload. Bare /mcp install and /mcp uninstall show usage and examples.

Upgrading to v4: use /mcp list instead of bare /mcp status. /mcp status <name> now requires a name. Existing server configuration and OAuth credentials are unchanged; no server reinstall is needed. Configuration defaults to local .zot/mcp.json; use --scope user for user-wide entries. Use copy-reply

/copy

Copies the last assistant message of the current session via pbcopy, wl-copy, xclip, xsel, or clip.exe — whichever is usable first.

Working on an extension

Commit and push inside the submodule, then bump the pointer here:

cd extensions/mcp-bridge && git push
cd ../.. && git add extensions/mcp-bridge && git commit -m "mcp-bridge: bump" && git push
